Sandwich Technology School

The Sandwich Technology School, is an 11-18yrs mixed non-selective school in the heart of Sandwich. The school was originally placed in special measures by Ofsted in June 2024 and again in May 2026. As a consequence, the DfE asked BCAT to sponsor the school to bring about rapid improvements. The School therefore joined our Trust on 1 November 2026. We are confident that we can bring about lasting change and significant improvement to the School, for the benefit of all the students, staff and the local community. We have a track record of leading and improving schools in challenging circumstances and with 3 highly successful secondary schools within the Trust we have a family of schools with capacity and the willingness to share our best practice and expertise with Sandwich Technology School. We have a vision and a determination to provide Sandwich community with an excellent school again and we are making great strides towards this.

There has never been a better time for your son or daughter to join Sandwich Technology School and we look forward to working together to ensure your child enjoys their education and leaves us as a confident, successful and happy young adult.
